Someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds. That’s why millions of donors give of themselves each year to save lives – helping accident victims, newborn babies, cancer patients, and other complete strangers. So in an effort to support blood donation, Professional Marketing International is sponsoring the First Annual Thanksgiving Point Blood Drive.
The blood drive will be held throughout August which is the month with the highest number of automobile accidents annually and, therefore, a greater demand for blood. The ARUP van will come one day each week throughout the month to handle donations. TK Specific Dates
During the drive, each individual who donates will be entered into a drawing for weekly prizes provided by PMI. And because only 38 percent of the general population is eligible to donate blood, anyone interested can send a cash donation. The drive will also include a friendly competition among local businesses, with PMI making a cash donation to the charity of choice for the business with the highest participation.
